Cuando leí esta pregunta, mi primer pensamiento fue: Si hoy fuera el último día de mi vida, ¿qué haría? Pero quizá la pregunta más importante es: ¿Qué no haría?
La vida cambia o se pierde en un segundo, y sin embargo, a veces vivo como si tuviera todo el tiempo del mundo. Pero no lo sé. Nadie lo sabe.
Así que ahora intento vivir de otra manera: pensar cada día como si fuera el último, pero con la intención de construir los que puedan venir después. Elegir conscientemente en qué invierto mi tiempo y qué dejo de lado. No posponer lo que realmente importa. No aferrarme a un futuro incierto, sino encontrar satisfacción en el presente, mientras sigo avanzando en mis proyectos.
Si no existe un mañana, que no importe. Que lo esencial ya haya sido hecho. Que mi día ideal no sea un día extraordinario, sino una forma de vivir que olvide lo menos posible.

When I read this question, my first thought was: If today were my last day alive, what would I do? But maybe the more important question is: What wouldn’t I do?
Life changes—or ends—in a second, yet sometimes I live as if I had all the time in the world. But I don’t know that. No one does.
So now I try to live differently: to think of each day as if it were my last, but with the intention of building the ones that may come after. To consciously choose where I invest my time and what I let go of. To stop postponing what truly matters. To not cling to an uncertain future, but to find fulfillment in the present while continuing to move forward with my projects.
If tomorrow never comes, let it not matter. Let the essential things already be done. Let my ideal day not be an extraordinary one, but a way of living I forget as little as possible.
